1000+ Horsepower I6 Jeep Engine

That's right about where I want to get. Anything more than that in a TJ is pointless even for shinnanigans sake. Getting it tuned is the only part that gives me pause. I want to use the JTEC PCM to keep stock cluster/cruise functionality. My sister lives in Charlotte though and that's a days drive. I'll probably swing by and chat with them in the not too distant future.

I think @Flyin' Ryan Performance can work some magic.

I am indeed! I thought you didn't remote tune boosted setups though? If so, I totally understand not having a knock sensor built in to the factory PCM.

Not the case- I've done hundreds of forced induction JTEC (I6 and otherwise) tunes. No knock sensor but over time I've been able to get into something safe enough where its not needed. If youre reliant on the knock sensor you're gonna have a bad time.

Oh, my mistake then! I thought you told me (or maybe I heard you said that?) you only did forced induction stuff in person. That's great news for us aspiring to a turbski!!

The rumor mill runs strong....

I have specific requirements for forced induction tuning - this is done to maximize efficiency , make my job easier, minimize revisions needed for completion and widen the tuning window especially without the use of a dyno - and not everyone is willing to meet them. Sometimes this gets Chinese telephone'd elsewhere as I was being difficult, or arrogant, or refusing to tune something. More than ever , we represent the "gold standard" in terms of late model Mopar tuning- people either want the best, or they want something else. But yes, I do these on a regular basis- it's my specialty- and I am happy to do them.

All I can say is that Ryan tuned my rig - and I've smoked two 14 bolts since....

Coincidence? I think not...

🙂

In all seriousness, Ryan did tune my Hemi, and solved a bunch of drivability issues I had. I can't say enough good things about Ryan and his skill set. First rate, and worth every penny.
