Congratulations to Apparition on winning the November 2025 ROTM contest!

I was going to say, "Only if you're a farmer", then you had to go posting... :ROFLMAO:
Fairly common.
When my son was 13 he was following in the pickup behind me driving a tractor. Neighbor lady somewhat frantically waved him over. I thought….here we go. She just told him to be careful.

I believe I was 9 the first time I drove a tractor by myself down the highway. Dad needed two tractors moved between farms and there was nobody else to drive one and no cell phones to call anyone else.

I had already been running the square baler in the field and would drive the truck when haying cattle.

She's driven it in the driveway now, that's scary enough. Waiting for her to hit the wrong pedal and go through the garage door. She did fine.

That reminds me of the time one of my girls almost drove my WJ into the garage door when she was learning. She would have if I hadn't pushed the shifter into neutral and pulled the e-brake:)

Same, essentially. Growing up in a rural area has many benefits.

I was sitting in the passenger seat with my hand on the shifter.
