Anyone using aftermarket front axle shafts?

Profile says 4.0 Sport on 35s, so LP 30?

Never assume anything :D

I had a 106ish wheelbase 74 C20 (2wd longbed on paper) and a 69 FJ55 with an 80s CUCV front Dana 60, and a Dana 70 rear from a 73 D or W300.

And beside the house right now I have a late 70s C10 "diesel" with a spring under Dana 44 and a 14 bolt 🤭

I have Sierra chromos front and rear in the 30 and 35. I have done a lot of gnarly trails and so far so good zero complaints.

When I had my lockers installed and regeared, i had the shop put in new yukon 4340 chromoly front shafts. They came slightly too long, and he had to chop the passenger one down a little bit. Dude was pissed about it on top of having to assemble the u-joints.

Aside from that, no issues.

Which diesel? I “assume” it’s a swap and a 4WD conversion?😂

Factory installed 5.7 Oldsmobile diesel
