And recommendations on a quality replacement oem type carpet sets that fit without any drama, I'm not considering Bedrug. Not afraid of the higher end prices if it's worth it. She's heading for paint next week and want to finsh her out nicely.

I know you said that you weren't interested in BedRug.... I wasn't impressed when I saw the BedTread, but ran into someone who had used the BedRug in their JK and I am still envious. If you have't looked at it in person, you might want to do that before you get new carpet. My factory carpet is still looking pretty good, but when the day comes for a replacement, I'm going with that as a replacement.

Bedrug is the Dollar Store version of floor coverings in a TJ. I've installed and been around several.

I get that and have looked at it but there's a warmth to carpet that's not there and it was a bit loud with road noise.

I get that... it was the ability to clean the mud & dirt out easily that I found attractive. But, it is a different feel for sure.

My girl is a garaged spare fun vehicle and becomes a family use vehicle when family visits our guest cottage occasionally or I venture to the mountains close by.

Armorlite, not cheap but reviews are great.

I will have some one day.

Price was hard to swallow, but it’s a little less crazy by the time you option out ACC with the Essex/mass backing and all the pieces. ACC is on RockAuto. Not sure if it’s the same as stockinteriors.com but they had similiar options. I think I saw decent reviews for ACC in the forum.

ACC mass backed Essex material is great. The fitment is ... meh.

I went with a premium carpet kit from Summit that's cut pile with mass backing and it's quite heavy, about an 1/8 in of a vinyl compound. Fit is right on with everything lining up like it should. Pricing beat every other site and Summit ships free..

That has to be done by ACC. Everything is too similar not to be.
