When I’m up at my place in ND and I see a combine with a 40’ header or a large tractor pulling equipment coming towards me I just pull into the nearest field approach and let them by. It only takes a minute or two to let them pass. Same with coming up from behind I just wait until they see me and find a place to pull over to let me pass them safely. People have no respect for large vehicles and the limitations that they have.

That just makes me sad. I hope it's just alarmist reaction and not an accurate look forward. After all, some big companies have survived a Chapter 11 reorganization. Chrysler, GM, and Texaco, to name three off the top of my head.

To be honest it wouldn't break my heart to see a conglomerate that has bought up, most likely, formally independent businesses, (usually putting long time employees out of work) have to break up. Yeah, one of the reasons I put spares for my LJ on the shelf is that I've lived long enough to be disappointed many times when a company gets acquired and the people and products change - never for the better. However, to see this many top-brands go away would be dis-heartening. I'm pretty sure that many of the brands will survive because they have intrinsic value - but will their good products survive? A Chapter 11 "fire-sale" brings out some pretty shady characters...
In this vein, since Autolite is one of their brands, I've ordered 12 Autolite XP985s to "put on a shelf" since there's no guarantee that they'll still be available after this bankruptcy proceeds, and even if they are still available, will they be crap like most things these days?
Since Michelin is on the list that would also mean BF Goodrich . If this is accurate , it could be real big.
My favorite is when you order something, the tracking says, "Label created" and three days later you receive the item with the tracking still saying, "Label created".
Bummer , that's my $ 8.00 each blades from Wally World .

Maybe Cardone will become a company that gives a shit, if they survive. Had multiple parts "lost" over the years when sent to them for R&R. Shit quality remans.

Yesterday was the first decent weather day in 6 months - thank Goddess. Its like a switch was thrown, now I'm not sweating like a pig 2 minutes after I set foot outside. Ye Gods I hate this climate (for 6 months of the year)!

I think it's because we got 0.47 " of rain Monday afternoon , It is damp outside.

Similar here. We had an “Arizona cold front” and dropped into the 90s, then the storms off Baja started pushing some moisture our way and there’s rain in the forecast, along with high temps in the mid-upper 80s. WooHoo!
We're in a short period where its either hot as balls or raining to the extent of wanting to build an ark.
