If you haven't been to Wolf Den Run State Park and you live in the Mid-Atlantic area, find time to go. It's a great place and simply gorgeous. It has been open a few years now and the trails are getting worn in, the puddles deeper, and the park is adding more trails.

How much of a challenge would you say this place is? Harder than Flagpole for example?

I've done the Duncan Hollow route to Flagpole and that is pretty mild. WDRSP has 3 sections. Huckleberry is very easy. North Hills is harder with mostly blue (hard green by AoAA standards). The Potomac section has it all and has the BoH trail. The blacks on top of the hill are hard blue by AoAA standards. Trail 2400 is in the Potomac section and is quite steep (can't see over the hood steep) with one spot that could tip an inattentive driver - see video.
