Here are a couple of old beer delivery trucks from 1910 and 1947.
Is that one of the "big block" v6's?
That'd be a beautiful car if someone spec'd one out that way. 10X nominal price increase since then.

Edit; I'd guess a comparable car from GM today would cost in the neighborhood of $100K.
The main problem would be the only option available on today's version would be the AM/FM ( with a touchscreen of course ) . Mary knows best , what drive train you need.![]()
I'm trying to think of a modern version of that potential '66 Impala and the best I can come up with is the the late '00s Pontiac G8 (I think around $40K when new)

or maybe the Caddy CTS/CT5 V-spec cars. I think the standard Caddy CTS/CT5 cars start around $70K and go up, while the V-spec cars start close to $100K.

I really like both of those cars. I had two weeks with a used loaner G8 back around 2012, and that was a fun car.
These are a favorite. Quite like the look of that one as it sits. An old friend had a faded red TR3A, it was always there for the basement garage poker nights (use to eyeball it frequently). If given the choice, I do prefer the "buggier eyes and small mouth" of the TR2/TR3...but I'd take a 3A in a NY minute.

Don't forget the Chevy SS
