I'm sure this might seem like a dumb question to those more knowledgeable, but I appreciate your patience.

I am installing a big 7 battery cables kit in my '05 TJ. There's a black cable labeled "bat neg" to "eng block" and another labeled "fire wall" to "cyl head".

The engine block ground I'm pretty sure is that nut w/ the etorx bit at the end, but where do I put the cylinder head ground? I don't think I took any other ground cables off when I was removing the old cables.

It's one of many little details that made me dislike the kit. I have hydraulic crimpers... easily could have made my own. I was hoping for a well thought out kit with instructions and it really seems like random lengths of wire and a cheap fuse holder without a bracket. Make sure you get that fuse nut tight.

On my '05, there is a woven wire strap on the driver side from the hood to a bolt on the firewall. There is a second woven wire strap from that same bolt to the driver-rear bolt holding the valve cover down.

Green - coming down from hood. Red - the ground wire to the head. Yellow - the bolt is down in there, almost impossible to see, and harder to photograph.

Oh interesting. I'm not planning to remove that. Well, I guess adding another ground wire won't hurt anything?
