Just removed my old stock swaybar and starting in on the AR install. any trick to the bushing install. Started on one and it doesn’t want to seat I properly. Chewed up a bit of the plastic so filed that down. Should it seat fairly easy or will it deform enough to sit in properly?

The later year TJ's front crossmember was not as uniform as the earlier years. Along with deburring the crossmember you will need to shave some of the bushings to custom fit it to your Jeep.

Step 7, yea the tube was clear of burs, but yea definitely not uniform so ill need to shave the bushing some.

I have an 06 and went through the same difficulty. Every video and thread I read made it look so easy. I was scratching my head until I found the info about the later crossmembers. I'm not sure what happened in production that caused the change.

Shaving a bit on the bushing and a BFH and a block of wood was great advice, thanks! Test ride shortly to enjoy the fall temps today.
