Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

Mic jack extension/relocator is in and wires are ran and ready to go. The things in the bottom row of switches aren't installed yet, just putting the stickers on so it dims the light.

Isn’t that RV a Ford? I’v owned GMC multiple fords and a couple of Toyotas. Refuse to buy a Dodge. I’ll take my Ford. 😜

I'm a Ram guy... Have owned a few of them now... And Yes my RV is a FORD... And I had to have the engine rebuilt to the tune of $28K after finding out the PO had tried to rebuild it and screwed it up...... It wasn't a Pleasent experience.

Ram 100%. I’ve had my Ford days.

I used to LIKE the Powerstroke when it was the 7.3... And I knew the 6.4 was a risk but DAMN it only had 26K mile on it when I bought it... I learned my lesson...

Good. We should hang out more.

But you don't like me.... I don't conform to the mold...

I love the 7.3 and looked at picking one up not long ago. I had the Triton 5.4 and got rid of it at 146K. Afraid it would blow. Did not like working on that engine.

That’s not the basis of me liking someone.

Just trying to give you a easy out...

Awesome work. That was quick!

It was.

Don't feel too bad about having "a" Ford in your stalls. I've got one now too. Though mine is an '84 with a 302 and a manual in it😝. Consider them a constant reminder of why we don't buy brand new ones...

The Auxbeam makes things so easy. I made a hole in the firewall grommet pulled a section of wire that I had handy, then pulled the center dash and popped in the port.

I was always a Chevy guy growing up, personally have a '14 Ram now that I love. Had an '18 Chevy for work that was this biggest piece of garbage (as we're most of the many the company had). Now have a '24 F150 for work and love the thing. If I HAD to go buy a new truck tomorrow, it would probably be a Ford. Luckily, I never drive my truck so it only has 89k miles. No need to replace that anytime soon!

So how much chainsaw juice should I bring to this circus?

One or two sigs? Or do we think we're in for a tree fight?

Got the transfer case back in last night and I'm hoping it doesn't leak this afternoon when I fill it up.

I'd guess all the trails we're going to do will have been cleared already since the PNW4WDA Trail Jamboree is happening and they clear the trails prior to the event. So IMO you won't even need your say. I was going to bring mine too but am debating leaving it home... Of course if I do I'll eat my words and we'll end up needing one.

I like my Auxbeam too. Makes things a lot simpler for the wiring. I do wish I'd gotten one of the high optioned models so I had more featiures for programing the switches. So I might upgrade mine at some point.

I was a Chevy guy growing up but my first truck was a 1954 Dodge. Then a 64 Chevy. I owned a wide range of rigs while I was in the military and after, I bought my first Cummins powered Dodge after I'd got back from Iraq in 2006. And I've been hooked on my CTD Rams since. I LOVE the MEGA cab Rams and have owned 3 of them so far.

When I was shopping for a new to me truck last fall I was looking at Fords & Rams. I'm not a fan of the newer Chevy pickups anymore. And I'd gotten a killer deal on this Ram I bought.

My motorhome was just a bad deal and after all I learned about the engine being out before and the PO screwing up the rebuild on it I'm sure it's why they'd decided to sell it & KNEW there were issues.

I got an 8-gang with RGB and multi-mode function. I don't need anything other than the on/off but I like being able to easily change the color. I didn't see any reason to get the Bluetooth or remote controlled options. My rock lights will have Bluetooth for controlling the color and such but will be on/off at the panel. I will probably set them to white and leave them.

I ultimately went with my Ram after deployment because I could buy it new for the price of a used Chevy. It's nothing fancy, but suits my needs perfectly and has been great. I feel that I got a great deal at 33k for a new 2014 1500 Express 4x4, 5.7, 8speed, and 3.92 w/ LSD.

I got the XL 8-Gang Auxbeam so it's RGB but you can't do the momentary/pulse/on-off on the switches just set the color... Mine is set in Blue. All the Blue accents on my TJ are for a buddy who was killed in Iraq. He LIKED Blue and was the guy who'd made me my old windshield banner that said Wildman.
