Georgia July 26th Charlie’s Creek + Persimmon

Yeah. Charlie’s Creek is fun.

If we do Charlies just up the street on Persimmon rd is old Coleman river road which takes you up to the top of one of the mountains, its cleared on top of the mountain and has great mountain views, it is not too difficult. Pic related:

The wife and I did Charlies again back in April, there are some spots that have been washed out, namely on some of the incline sections, I was in 4-low after helping a Landcruiser navigate the obstacle. I was solo at the time, I think if we are a group we should be able to help each other out if needed.

Praying for dry weather leading up to this lol

Disagree, squeaky clean is for me, but I understand some dirt is off road

If you are worried about the dirt, then this trip may not be the one for you, Charlies has multiple stream crossings and many water collection spots in the road, these are often muddy as its GA and GA/ the south have that lovely red clay mud, by EOD, your jeep will be dirty. This was after Charlies creek in Jan 2021. My advice, when planning a route and worried about mud, find a touchless carwash to hit on the way home, then give it the good wash once you get home.

Never been there. May be a nice addition to Charlie's if it’s not too rough.
