I purchased the Bestop seats to replace some.old Caribous I have and was hoping to use the base. has anyone modified a Caribou base with slider to accept a Bestop seat? I know there are links regarding the OEMs but the person I bought my Jeep from a few years back threw away the OEM risers. Any tips might help.

I do plan to keep the sliders. The holes in the trailmaxx are wider then the sliders so I was thinking about adding flat bars, like you said and put 2 sets of holes in them. One set for the slider and the other set for the holes in the seat. Just wondering if this has been done or am I doing something ok ne off. Thanks

Well I ended up making adapters out of 3"x36"x3/16" flat bar for my front seats. It took me a while to figure it out and only got 1 seat in today, passenger, but the adapters are made for the driver side. I did notice that I sit down lower (getting some 1"spacers to bring then up) in these seat then my Corbeau Moab seats. The only reason I am changing these out is because my butt sweats with the vinyl! lol. The Trailmaxx are comfortable and at least I won't scorch the back.of my legs from the Texas sun! I will follow up when I am done... Yes I was a little rushed with the paint!
