Yup. Still have my first one from 1970.
My brother did the cut fork process but it ended badly when the forks folded while he was riding. I did find it hilarious.

For me, the two wheeled names in the 80's were Miyata, Raleigh, Lotus, Schwinn, Bianchi, and Klein.

I went when I was stationed in Germany in 1980.
it is a much bigger production now a days i’m sure. planning on shipping the BMW and a jeep to England. and taking a few months off of work.

My first motorcycle (dirt bike) 1980 Honda CR125R Elsinore bought from a friend around April 1983! It was rough but it did the job! Wish I still had it.
Current ride 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere ES. There's been several different bikes in between these two.
