Hello all

I’m writing this as a bit of a warning to those who care about proper and good fitment.

I bought this kit from extreme terrain, and I put it in about a month ago.

long story short, the plate didn’t sit properly against the body of the jeep. I had to use a spacer on one of the corners to ensure all four bolts were holding down the plate without damaging the body of the jeep.

I’m not sure why exactly the fitment was so bad, but when I emailed Steinjager asking about it, they sent me instructions with photos of the process, and in those photos you could see that their plate didn’t fit right either!

Overall, I’m pretty unhappy with paying those kinds of prices and getting this kind of quality. It’ll work, yes. But you’d think it’d fit better for how much they charge, and you’d think you shouldn’t need to produce your own spacer to make sure installing this doesn’t damage the body of your jeep.

Savvy shifter cable FTW ;)

Thanks for letting us know though. Saves someone else the headache.
