Summing up my trip it was outstanding. Great people, great builds and great wheeling in an amazing place. Thanks to all for being so welcoming to first time joiners.

We will certainly be up for more adventures with this crew, pushing the rig and skills incrementally.

Next time I will have plenty of blue thread locker in place where I don’t have a locking nut!

I’ve got a lot of good pics and videos of others, will post them up on the shared Google drive once I get home.

Cheers everyone!

Enjoyed wheelin' with you and the others.
Some lessons learned by all.
Again someday hope.

Filled up my truck today at 3.09 (for 85 regular gas). Cheapest I've seen in over a week!

I used Mudflap for $3.19 in Green River.

A big group of TJ's were coming in as I was leaving around 8:30.

Good to see you 1 more time Jeff even if it was @ 65 MPH...

Took the southern Oregon route home. No gas station between Winnemucca and Lakeview. Ran out of gas. ODOT truck brought me 4 gallons ...got to Lakeview and put 18.73 gallons in the tank.

Meanwhile the rear is covered in oil. Pinion seal is leaking. Checked level and still comfortably full.

Transfer case skid plate bolt was loose again...that lead me to the leak... front of the transfer case is hemmoraging fluid. Had a quart of ATF but no funnel. Used a ziplock bag like a pastry bag and got most of it in. Glad I had pig mats down. Still a bit low but two hours home.

My tired butt is at home, drinking an ice tea on the deck. Girls aren't here so it'll be a surprise for then.
Uneventful ride except for the morons in SLC (only had to stand on the brakes once in traffic on I-15, someone cutting a guy off) and pretty stout crosswind across the Salt Flats and all the way home from there.
The rest of you stay safe and thanks for the riotous good time.
I didn't break anything, nothing came loose, and no one pulled rope for me. Beginner's luck or just not trying hard enough. Now I know what traction is and was amazed at what the LJ can do.
A bit sad I didn't get to meet some of you 'famous' folks.
