Hasn't this happened before and you got better clamps? Or was that something else

It'd happened before the engine was rebuilt. I'd asked the mechanic to replace any questionable clamps... I guess he didn't.
I'll get new ones when I get back. I've got spares with me.

I just changed the IPR and freed up his unison ring on my friend's 2006 F250 6.0. I recommended new clamps and boots for the charge pipe... didn't listen...but his truck is running and the turbo is working again after the vanes we're stuck for ~4 years.

Had to do the same last year to the F350 in Denver on way to Moab. Unloaded the jeep and went all over on a Sunday trying to find a t-bolt hose clamp that fit.

Maybe I'll stop at my buddy's shop to see if he has one for the road. He's all about Ford.
Check air in the trailer tires in the morning and Moab bound.
Should probably leave the RainGear off to blow the bug dust out from my last play day.

I don't trailer yet, but I've always been curious - what's the target PSI to run trailer tires at? I plan to over inflate my jeep a bit for better mileage, but nothing crazy.

Considered flat tow but if something breaks...

I run them at max stated on the sidewall when loaded heavy. Hell, could be 45, I'll know tomorrow. 7000# trailer wish it was 10-12k. Maybe next time.
Truck at door sticker 80psi R, 60psi F. 20# in my airbags got me level with Ford camper package and snow plow package stiffens the front.
TorqueLift 24" extension rated to 10k with WD hitch.
Considering eliminating some tools to lighten the Jeep.

Hoping to hit camp before dark and hoping @MagnumV8 might drop a pin to me when he's settled in.
I might call Red Desert and see if they have spot to get me in there a day early.
My twins are wrenching my heart with "Are you leaving Grampa? We'll miss you."

Thinking I might stay around 70mph. I usually do 75 with the 5er but probably higher rated tires than the trailer. 80mph speed limit most interstates out here.

New Member to the group - long time lurker! Not new to Jeeps, or hard trails. Arriving in Moab on Sunday, towing down my built LJ. Short of reading all 61 pages, what's the protocol for joining a group trail run?

I came in at 40+ pages and was told to go back and read them all
