Passing on the shoulder is illegal but everyone does it when the shoulder is wide enough for a car and someones making a left. Cross a double yellow to avoid a right turner no problem. But god forbid a motorcyclist should pass on a half width shoulder at 20mph or in this case filtering to the front. We should be punished for having a pulse and being self aware of how much space we take up. Only car drivers are allowed to use the size of their vehicle as an advantage to maneuver.

Freaking people are crazy... I hardly ever lane split while I was in CA... And the few times I did I had people try to cut me off or squeeze me in so I figured it wasn't worth the risk...
Isn't legal here in WA....

I think a lot of it is people not knowing that it's legal for bike riders to do that.

Only bike riders get taught what is legal for them to do. I was surprised when I first found out that was legal.

^^ This ^^ If your driving a truck you just think the guy on the bike is being a total prick.

Most of these part were going to either be sold at a swap meet (Which I'm never going to do) or sold online or thrown out... I need to get rid of all my old Harley parts...
So YES if you get it we can figure something out. If you decide you want to go down the "Rabbit Hole" look up 110ci kits....

I've got a TON of old take off parts... I'm sure we could make it a nice rideable bike again...

Gahhh! This thing comes with a mid and high rpm set of new cams, has a larger carb, and a thunderheader. Also a few boxes of stock and aftermarket stuff. Guess I'll be digging into the motor! Hopefully the crank runout isn't too bad and I can do a big bore kit.

Well,I wound up trading a tired old motor for a tired old dyna wide glide. Here is the guys creative solution to fitting a 19" narrow glide wheel on the wide glide forks....Just space it over an inch or two!

Thankfully the stock 21" wheel and spacers were included so I put it back on.i bet having your wheel centered in the forks is a good thing!

Check out the cool bearing clearance on the front with the narrow glide wheel 🤣

Thankfully this was an impound and he didn't have it for very long or much more would have got fked up

Runs ok but pops out of first so I'll take the shift drum and forks out for inspection. Dogs too. Supposedly has a 6 speed conversion. If so i hope i can get parts.

If it's a 6 speed conversion either he used stock parts or it's a Baker transmission.... Let me know when you want some 110ci parts... And anything else I might have to help you out...

I've been fighting with this old chrome rear wheel for too long now, and this week it will find itself a new job of holding up my vice, or weighing down the trash can.
The replacement wheel & new tire arrived while I was out of town last week, but the wheel bearings have not.
New ARP bolts for the rotor and pulley, along with 90° valve stems still need to be ordered.
It's starting to come together.

Shimed the space shown out of the shift drum to get first back.

The first gear shift fork, first gear and the other gear it meshes with need replaced but it's going now.

Went to check the chain tensioner pads and saw that it already has gear drive and aftermarket cams. I'll need to check the crank runout before thinking about big bores and continuing to run the gear drive.
