What are you running for a 3rd brake light?

I used to have a KC Hilites Cyclone in the center of my spare. It eventually leaked and the LEDs failed. I've just had a cheap eBay LED since then, which a few LEDs have failed in now after a few years.

I also made a ring of lights to shine through the holes in my wheel using 3/4" marker lights. I've had to replace a few of those over the years, when they've started flickering or ailing completely. I replaced the eight LEDs in the ring at the weekend.

One line of LEDs in my right rear lamp has dulled recently too. But it's not a fail till 50% +1 LED are out.

I suppose that I should have shown the light that I'm using. It's an inexpensive LED tail light, I just use the brighter light on it. When I did a round LED tail light conversion, I used these as side marker lights/ turn signal lights, AND they also serve as a reflector so that all Legal requirements are met.
