Looking for #4 8350 0548 snap ring
It went flying in the garage last night during reassembly.
Is ACE hardware my friend or is there a spec that needs to be met?
Any help or sources would be great.
I found it here

But $16 shipped for a tiny snap ring seems steep.

$16 sounds pretty good compared to the $85 I found for a lock ring I needed for a 32RH.

I can't tell much about that snap ring from that picture (part #29, right)? If it's one of those thin "eyelet" style snap rings then I would just find one of the correct size and not sweat it. But if it's one of those thicker ones it may be seeing forces being applied, or it could be used to set a clearance.

That's what we call E-clips in the UK.

To get one that fits you need to know the diameter of the shaft and/or the groove. I think imperial and metric are measured differently, imperial based on shaft size and metric on groove size.

If i'm right abiut that...

A half inch e-clip would fit into the groove on a half inch shaft.

A 10mm metric E-clip would fit into a groove that is 10mm diameter which may be on a shaft around 12mm diameter.

Knowing the diameter of the shaft and groove would help in finding an E-clip that fits properly.

We're planning to remove the part, get the calipers on it to get a starting point and take the whole thing up to the hardware

Yeah for that e-clip, I would just go get the Royal Sampler kit from Harbor Freight. Definitely not paying $16 for that.
