Its like the joke says... Here is poor Mary who just gave birth, and all she wants to do is rest. Instead, some asshole starts beating on a drum and wakes the kid up that she just got put down to sleep so she could sleep too!

Had a nice ham, and I made a mincemeat pie, first one I've had in probably 45 years or so. Used to could buy a take and bake from the frozen section, but now nobody even knows what a mincemeat pie is! HA! Their loss.
After the kids left, wife and I watched that quintessential Christmas movie of all time...

As a New Yorker I’ve ridden motorcycles, and partied at the Chance in Poughkeepsie with Dee mor’n once
Since Ben left for the Navy whenever he is home for Christmas we make sure we go for a family Jeep run through the woods. Sometimes we convince Gramma and Grandpa but not this year. Sometimes we just took the JL for a loop around a local piece of State land.
