I have two TJ's I want to sell as parts cars (they're both in rough shape), I have no idea what price to list them for, and was wondering if y'all have any suggestions. This isn't necessarily a for sale add, i was just going to list them on FB marketplace but like I said I don't know what they're worth.

One of the jeeps is a 2000 wrangler sahara, it runs and drives but has an alignment issue that I don't wnat to fix right now.

The other is a 1997 wrangler SE/TJ, that does not have an engine. And is missing a few parts here and there is took the engine out in 2020 and it has been sitting ever since, i believe it had about 160,000 miles at the time.

Just look on your local FB and see what parts are asking/selling for. Hood 100, fenders 100, axles ??, AX15 500, doors, interior parts ?
Hard to tell, some part will sell for twice what it will at another place. Don't know what the TJ parts market is like in Idaho.

Unfortunately FB shows the sellers' asking price and not what they have actually sold for. If the parts are small enough they may have sold on eBay on which you can see the sold listings.

Given the backdrop of your photo, there should be quite a few guys building in the area.

Anyone who buys them is a true jeep person who is building for himself.

If you are going to let them sit and rot in the field, do a BOGO sale for a grand. It is a grand you didn't have znd didn't have to work hard to get. Also you are helping a diehard out.

Another option is find a YouTuber who builds and offer them to him in exchange for them using the jeep as the build subject.

Yes, I was up on Bald Mtn Sunday. This was Sundance area about 5000 ft, had about 7 inches. Bald Mt had a solid 12".

@slim Jim You'll get a lot more money parting them out vs selling whole. If you want them gone faster, undercut the price on FB a little and tell the buyer shipping is on their dime. You're out in BFE, lots of folks will want you to ship vs come to pick it up. All that said I wonder if that auto tranny would fit my 4L. time to find out what it takes to swap the 5 spd for the auto.. ;-)
