The 1998 Sahara had already been pressed into ranch duty
having served a few seasons as a pesticide sprayer
with a 15 gallon spray tank and the electric pump
connected to the rear window defroster wiring and switch.
It allowed me to drive and spray lefthanded from the driver seat.
Izzy, the terrible Terrier of uncertain pedigree,
is my constant companion
and loves to ride in the naked jeep.
Now I have added a 20 gallon propane bottle
with a Forney Uniflame Weed Burner (not pictured).
The pesticide sprayer now doubles as a fire extinguisher.
After connecting the weed burner
and trying it out on some convenient grassburs
my helper walks over and says,
"You know the county is under a burn ban."
But as soon as the ban is lifted, I will be ready.
