Smittybilt Bowless Top Zipper Problem

Hey everyone!

I have a 97 TJ with a Smittybilt Bowless top Top (I have half doors). On the left side of the window zipper the cap broke and the zipper doesn't stay closed (it opens up after you zip). I called Smittybilt to see If I could replace the window portion and my top is too old (mnfd. 2014). The upholstery shop got a zipper but the end cap of the zipper is not like a regular zipper it has two grooves instead of one and one groove is broken so the end of zipper doesn't stay in place. Sorry, hard to explain... Long story short, Any ideas or I am out of luck and going to be buying a new top?

A Rampage is a cut above Smittybilt and works pretty good too.

Amazon in the box returns? Are those used or returned ones? Never heard they have that.

Rampage is a top I assume?
 
Yes Rampage is a brand.

Amazon will have things to get returned for no more than a scuffed package- These are brand new items. And if you’re not happy you can send it back- There is just simply little risk.

At that point they’re not trying to make money they’re just trying to limit losses- @Hog got a racehorse deal on one.

I think when you put in your order you’re going to sometimes see them offer that if they have some available with the same item number

Used items which are basically returned items .

Usually see this option below the pics of them item you selected.. says something like other sellers or used items… I got a trek top for my LJ for 260 bucks. Box was just busted in shipping.. they reboxed it and if I wasn’t happy .. I could have sent it back

Do you have an amazon link where we can look for tops like this? Needing a replacement top as well. Prefer Bestop, but keeping budget in mind, other brands are more likely. :)
