Car pics too cool not to share

More specifically, it's an Imperial LeBaron. I owned a white '61 LeBaron 4-door sedan. I went out to buy a suit to attend a wedding, and came home with a suit and the car. My wife wasn't real happy with me. ;) I tried to find a pic of a 4-door sedan, but could only find the hardtops. Maybe they weren't as plentiful. 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, I ended up selling it to a kid who already had a white '59 4-door hardtop Imperial. Many years later, I stumbled across my old car again, and visited with the owner a bit. Good times.

Could it have been a limo, or a '60? I've never seen a post car, but as rare as those cars are, I've probably only seen about a dozen in my life, and most of those were in an old junkyard. The Imperial Club list only hardtops and convertibles for '61, with 9 limos that could have been whatever was paid for, but a 4-door post was available in '60.

I thought I recognized that car, here's a '58. VERY VERY RARE.

Well, hell...I just dug into it a little further, as mine was definitely a sedan and not a hardtop. As I started thinking more about it (it was 40 years ago that I owned it), I started thinking about the shape of the rear bumper and the taillights. After looking it up, I now realize that the car was a '58. (sigh) I am all kinds of embarrassed. I know that as we age, the memory can become foggy, but damn...cars are all I've got to hold onto. Not at all happy about forgetting this major (to me) detail. :( I do appreciate you prompting me to look into it a little further, though. I'd rather be embarrassed than to continue being wrong about the year. Thanks, man.

Mine was white...
