Couldn’t be more excited for this trailer. I’ve wanted an overland trailer for a while now and was looking into buying one a couple years ago. I called A good friend of mine who does custom fabrication work for advice on maybe building my own…he quickly jumped at the opportunity to build me my own. I’m blown away. It’s made out of aluminum and is super light. Completely custom and just bad ass. Cant wait for the trips and memories in this thing.

Really nice work-

Might make use of the tongue length for a tool box/extra storage.

Not sure if you have one but they make a hitch that also spins for offroad - really works well.

Some led inside lights will help.

Suggestion: Install a pair of eyes at an appropriate location on each side of the A-frame to hook your safety chains onto when parked. Keeps them out of the mud, helps keep them clean and rust free.

That is really nice! The only tip I can offer is keep your fingers clear when you collapse that telescoping ladder, I learned the hard way! I only did it once.

Does the spare from the Jeep fit it?

Heck as low as that tent is I might just ask your friend to make a short fixed aluminum ladder. Or cut up an extension ladder.
