I'd like to keep the Jeep topless and in the garage to drive on the clear days. Only problem is that I leave the garage door cracked for the cats to be able to get in and out of, and they tend to like to lay in the jeep and get massive amounts of hair in it when I've tried this before. Anyone have any ideas of anything I could put in the Jeep to keep the cats out? Like dryer sheets or something? Or a spray maybe that's not offensive to the nose?

If for some weird reason you want to keep the cats, I've heard old guys say to sprinkle hot pepper (dried and ground), like habanero, where you want the cats to avoid. The theory is they'll figure it out after a few times of licking themselves, but I've never actually tried it.

The wife mentioned one day that someone was giving away cats and that she was thinking about getting them. I told her I don't need anymore gun targets.

She didn't get the cats.

Mine has brought home two strays over the years. I won't let them inside, but they’re ok outside, as long as they don't get on my cars. With some hooting and crying in the woods, both disappeared about a week into hanging around. She no longer wants to bring home coyote food.

Dang imagine cruising down the road and that hot pepper starts flying around like dust in your Jeep. MY EYES!! MY EYES!!! I CANT BREATHE!😜🤪

I was thinking more along the lines of having sprinkled it on the seats ! and driving around on a hot sweaty day. Hey daddy why was that naked man screaming and running towards the creek ? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah I'd get a 12 electric fence charger and something conductive to put on the ground...but if they leap into the Jeep they wouldn't have two points of contact and no shock.

They do make motion activated sprinklers...

Could you… not… crack the door? If that’s how they get in and out… and you don’t want them in… idk just thinking out loud I guess lol.

Was always fine with barn cats growing up but I’m not a fan of them in my house or my vehicles.
