R.I.P. @RINC

Very sad to hear of his passing.

Condolences and prayers to his friends and family.

A big reminder that Life is short.

Spend it on what's important.

The sudden and unexpected death of my brother-in-law a bit over a week ago has really driven this home for me.

"For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

I met Rinc in January '21 when I met up for an Arizona group ride.

Who was this crazy dude driving with no windows in 45º weather wearing shorts and eating a burrito for breakfast?

His work schedule was open on Fridays so we set about exploring for next couple months.

Since '21 we would always be back out on the trail within a few days of my AZ arrival.

I'll sure miss him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris (@RINC) and wheeling with him earlier this year. He was a pleasure to be around, funny, witty and full of stories! I also enjoyed his posts and reading the tales he would share about his truck driving days!

As Zorba posted earlier, it's not R.I.P., it's D.I.J Chris.......

I met Chris through the forum back in late 2020 and spent many a day with him on the trail in the time since, sharing laughs and making many mutual friends. He was always up-beat, up for a challenge on the trail while teaching us how to use proper trucker lingo along the way, and raising a PBR at the end of the day - he'll be missed. As Chris would say, '10-fo, driver'!
