The shop I found does a great job setting up gears. The only complaint I have is the use of an impact when installing the diff cover.
An impact?

An impact?Wow.
Had to be. It was well over 35ftlb
Geez. Isn’t the torque spec on those bolts about 18ft/lb? I take it easy on those. It’s a diff. I don’t want to have to drill those out.
Who needs an impact....Haynes list it at 30 to 35. When I did the gear break in oil change I had to grunt a little to break them loose.
What about July 19-20?

I am still trying to find time for the 1175 jeep trail. Thinking next weekend depending on weather. If anyone has time for that trail next sat or Sunday let me know. Also looking to go to Elbe if anyone runs that spot. Just one more place I have not been yet.
Where is this, the 1175? I’ve probably been on it but almost every trail has a couple names or more depending on who your with.
It’s the naches Jeep trail out of Greenwater right off FS 70.I ran the trail two weeks ago. Very fun trail. I need to get back and do more exploring. Unfortunately this weekend is out for me.
