Washington Washington members that live to wheel

Had to be. It was well over 35ftlb

Geez. Isn’t the torque spec on those bolts about 18ft/lb? I take it easy on those. It’s a diff. I don’t want to have to drill those out.

I zip mine on with my 3/8" impact but I don't sit there and rattle on them either just sung them up. I can break them lose with a ratchet so I must not be over tightening them.

Haynes list it at 30 to 35. When I did the gear break in oil change I had to grunt a little to break them loose.
Who needs an impact....

My 1/4" air ratchet was my go to for zipping diff cover and trans pan bolts off nd on, when I was a banging knuckles. If I wasn't ppaying attention it could easily torque bolts to 50 ftlb. I would just stop as soon as it started to tighten.. I never did use a torque wrench to finish tightening the bolts. I just went through with my 1/4" hand ratchet and made sure they were all tightened down evenly after I buzzed them on with the air.. never had anything come back with a leak.

I am still trying to find time for the 1175 jeep trail. Thinking next weekend depending on weather. If anyone has time for that trail next sat or Sunday let me know. Also looking to go to Elbe if anyone runs that spot. Just one more place I have not been yet.

So me and one other TUG member (at least) will be camped out at long meadows this weekend. If you’re in the area or spot me please say 👋. If anyone wants to run with us, no problem, just know that we will be running long distance and kinda fast, with zero timelines. I think channel 4 on gmrs, ask for mumblewood

Where is this, the 1175? I’ve probably been on it but almost every trail has a couple names or more depending on who your with.

It’s the naches Jeep trail out of Greenwater right off FS 70.I ran the trail two weeks ago. Very fun trail. I need to get back and do more exploring. Unfortunately this weekend is out for me.

Oh, we just call that that the wagon trail, not great with numbers, we ran a good chunk of it this weekend, kinda on accident. Didn’t mean to go as far as we did
