Hello,
New to the forum. I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. I recently noticed my front passenger floor pan was quite rusty due to some water/moisture coming in at some point and staying there, trapped under the carpet. Some grinding and POR-15 took care of that. I removed the two large plugs while I was at it, and they are very rusty and not reusable.

I tried buying plugs from Quadratec, but the ones they sent were way too small, they had bad information on their website. Now, I'm not sure where to get ones that fit. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I'd like to get some originals, as I know they will look and fit the same. A part number I've found is 06004507AB, but this one always comes up as REAR floor pan. Is there a difference between the large front and rear floor pan plugs?? If not, then that's my solution. If these are not correct, can someone recommend a place that has some reproduction ones that fit? Thanks! -Chris

Thanks for the response, but this is the hole I fell into with Quadratec. They are completely wrong. That is the exact part number I ordered (55360966AA) and they were much smaller than the originals. I just returned them three days ago and they wouldn't pay me back my shipping costs for their error, to add insult to injury.

I don't think the metal ones are supposed to come out.
Only the round plastic ones.
You may need an oem parts source.

Or, do the JK/JL oval plugs fit?
