Craigslist Find of the Year

New old stock OME Nitrochargers! These are the classic N66/N67 combo that were the TJ's go-to for off-the-shelf shocks back in the early 2000's. If I'm reading the serial right, I'm guessing the DOM is 2008.

I bought all 4 for $250. The guy bought them new for a project Jeep he no longer owns. Hopefully I can get some mileage out of these. Seals still seem good with strong compression and rebound action. Wonder if OME will still honor the 2 year warranty if something happens

Congrats on the find. I didn't think anyone used Craigslist anymore since the popularity of FB Marketplace.

Exactly! I'm exclusively OfferUp and FB Marketplace these days. Decided to do a quick check on CL one night. Sure enough...here we are.

Slapped these bad boys on tonight. Can confirm - the ride is very comparable to the RS5000X these replaced. Some of the big hits (speed bumps, etc) seem slightly less jarring than the X's, but it's very close.

So for those of you that missed out on the Nitrochargers in their prime, fear not. The RS5000X's are a very comparable alternative! But they can never match the aesthetic/nostalgia of the original Nitrochargers...

Of course we do, not everyone is on fucksuck. OfferUp also shot themselves in the foot, so I'm not on it anymore either. Besides, OfferUp shows postings that are YEARS old.
