It may not show up in the picture, but it actually appeared to be engraved into the aluminum. For me, the truly funny part of its existence is the fact that anyone would even decide to do it. A joker? Maybe someone with a really positive outlook on life? Or was it designed more to be a "Smile, sucker! You're stuck working on this POS!"? I will ever know...

Stopped there in 1992 with my son when we were driving out to Buffalo, NY to help my parents move. It was there then too.

This old Chevy wagon has been sitting abandoned on the property for at least 40 years that I know of. Looks like a 1954?

I wouldn't call it cool but it's damn impressive. John Force hit the wall today at over 300 mph. Hope he is okay.

His daughter said he was going to be OK but I haven't seen any more updates. He's 75.

The safety built into today's race cars is impressive, I suspect he'll be ok and running around like a squirrel soon. One thing about top fuel is that when something goes wrong, everybody knows it.

I was going to say that it looks incredibly straight and solid, so I would doubt it ended up as scrap, or something. Love his choice of propulsion.
