Car pics too cool not to share

I'll just leave this here. Airbags and rubber bands make it easier to get in and out of. :sneaky:

With a little stretching...

Always had it in mind to find a '92-'93 XtraCab 4x4 duallie and mount a RegCab and large flat deck on it. Would be a great hauler for hay, multiple quads, etc., etc. There are some great flat deck manufacture's around, or build your own. A planked deck inset in a alum or steel frame, with a good HD headache rack . . . . could'a, would'a, should'a . . .
You'll like the Dodge Squatch. Welcome to 'The Darkside' . . .

I like the 2nd and 3rd gens, I just wish they made them in a full size 4-door. I have an '05 4-door and that back seat is like a TJs back seat, 6-12" more would be perfect.

That's why I have a Mega Cab.
I've had a '01 Quad Cab 8' box and a '06 Quad Cab 8' box (same color as my '06 Mega Cab btw)
before I got my Mega...

I'm happy to lose that bed space for the extra cab space. If I really want the 8" bed back I could probably have it done for about $7k or so. There's a guy running around Challis that has a 3rd Gen Dually Mega Cab with the 8' box conversion... 😍

Needless to say this is my current tow pig.

That was the mega cab (more like 18”, I think) but you could only get a short bed. My ‘08 is a quad cab long bed. I bought it new and the kids complained about it on every trip. These days, however, the kids are out in the world and the dogs got a promotion from the bed (with cap) to the back seat. No complaints now and I still have a useful truck😃

Edit: should’ve kept reading before replying.

My first Cumins was a Quad Cab...

Then I went to a Mega Cab. At the time my daughter was 8 years old. Loved it for hauling her and friends around. I got around the lack of a long bed by putting the camper on a gooseneck.

Then I thought I didn't need the Mega Cab anymore and got a crew cab

I miss my larger trucks but when driving in Seattle I like having the smaller club cab short bed.

Edit: And as Reddvltj pointed out you can get a longbed conversion for your Mega Cab but I sure wouldn't want to drive it in the city.

I remember when the 2nd Gens first came out they didn't have rear opening doors and I remember them being called club cabs. They must have changed the name to quad cab when they introduced the rear opening doors.

My White was a Quad Cab & the Red one is a Club Cab... Man I dislike it too. It was cheap transportation at the time but I need something better since I've been driving across the pass so much.

It's amazing how accustomed we get to being able to open a backdoor even if it is half the size of a regular door...
