I want to replace my Driver side Flip & fold slider & risers with a regular slider so I can mount lockbox underneath the seat. Does anybody know what riser hardware would work on a 2006 LJ?

Do you mean spacers to raise the seat? I don't have a flip base, but I just used 1" spacers & longer bolts from a hardware store. 03 TJ.

I did add 1" spacers & still don't have enough room with the flip base.

I had the lockbox under my 97 without the flip and fold.

It was marginally useful.

What was terrible was the 3 hours face down contorted in the footwells doing 1/8" turns with an Allen wrench and pliers trying to tighten the bolts.

Removed it the next time my seat came out.

Are the seats different between the 05 and the 06 ? Just wondering because I have one mounted under my driver seat. Never mind about the little 9 mm as it was lost in a boating accident 😉

Yea, I am still trying to decide if I need to spend the extra money for the other slider & lock box.

My 04 doesn’t have the flip seat, so my lockbox easily goes under. Except as @macleanflood states, one or two of the bolts makes it really fun to snug. Maybe buy a non flip seat base.

Yes, I am trying to locate one. 03-06. They are a little pricey on Ebay.

Supposedly, they are different from 03-06.

I assume you're trying to mount a Tuffy box.
They have different size boxes for flip and non-flip.
I've wondered how much modification would have to be done to get the larger box to fit under the flip seat.
Or swap out my flip base for a regular base; I hardly ever flip the driver side.

Yes, I am going to fit a full size box under my seat

Your slider stays with your seat, you just need to swap the flip base out for a pair of stationary bases.

$40 or so on ebay.

Yes and I wanted the larger nonflip tuffy box on my pass also,so I bought a set of these and another larger box and had them keyed the same and now I have both long boxes under the seats.
