Hello everyone! Brand new to the forum after buying my first jeep. Always been a fan of the old Wrangler and picked one up for a good deal (I hope) from a neighbor down the street. Runs great, but I noticed a leak that is dripping from the front, near under the bumper. It's brownish, but I have no idea what it could be coming from. I know these are prone to leaks, but just trying to find out if it's a simple fix or something else that I have to budget for.

welcome to the forum and to TJ ownership!
I don’t see a fluid in your pics but you seem to be showing the steering gear box and pitman arm area, and it looks coated with road grime. This could be from power steering fluid leaking and attracting dust. But I don’t see anything bad in the pics. Is there anything on your garage floor? Put a white piece of paper under it and see what the drippings look like there - it will help diagnose. PS fluid would be reddish and not foamy if it’s in good shape.

Thank you much!!! I will put a piece of paper down and capture the droppings for a better view. It looks like a very slow leak

Welcome to the Forum, we need to see the rest of your Jeep.

If you need a service manual the are free to download in the Resource section.

I noticed a worm type hose clamp on your lower Rad hose and they are kinda frowned upon, here's some good info.

Sorry for the delay response, holiday and everything. I threw some cardboard underneath the front to try to collect a sample, but of course it got wet due to the fog at my place. However, a drop did get on some clear tape and attached is the photo

Get all the grease and grime out from under there and under the hood. Should make it easier to find the source.
