I just put on a new Bestop twill top. For some reason it’s not sealing good at the corners? I attached a pic to show what I’m talking about. Is this common? Any solution?

Mine looks like it would leak in places, but going down the road with a headwind I’ve got no air blowing in and nothing when it rains. The seal on top of the frame is the actual seal point. Put her in the wind and see if you feel any air coming in.

I don’t think it will leak. I’m just not liking that it doesn’t go all the way up to close that gap.

honestly, yours looks pretty good.

here's mine after 1 seasons use on my first twill top kit in fall weather. sent the photos to bestop and they sent me another header bar, some brackets and another top. gap looked more like what your photo shows. new top was a improvement but still not the best.

here's my 2nd purchased top (beginning of this year), replace-a-top with a new header bar after 1 summer of use. gap was a bit larger in the spring but closed up a little over the summer a hair. still get a bit of a whistle/air noise on both sides while driving on colder days, not so much on hot days.

I blame the sunrider feature. if you look at the folding joint on the J shaped bar running from the roll bar to the windshield header under tension its somewhat folded back on itself not exactly pushing tension on the top forward. 🤷‍♂️ im not a engineer though.. always wanted to rip the sunrider joint out and replace it with some steel tube though to test my theory. I never use the sunrider feature either, have had the top fall down too many times with it opened.

That's what his pic looks like to me. The fabric isn't folded cleanly. I was too focused on @03coloradowrangler's pics.

I guess I’m not understanding. I pushed the header bar in as far as it would go, and then screwed the top to the bar. Started in the middle and worked my way out. Keep in mind this is the first top I’ve installed so maybe I missed something.

The front edge of the soft top is supposed to be wrapped around the header bar then the screws go in. Go to minute 6 at

However I would not use a power drill as the screwdriver for those screws as shown in that video, it's too easy to strip out what they're screwed into.

By the way she's a HOTTY, I met her years ago.
