My new to me previously enjoyed LJ has the holes under the rear carpet. No nutsert or anything in them. Just holes that look like something would have mounted there?

Maybe an attempt at adding a third row seat? :ROFLMAO:

I see six random spaced holes but no hole on the right is located on any single flat surface when the whole shebang could have been shifted slightly to the left. There may be a good reason for that but I bet there isn't.

I'm not trying to scare you but I'd be more worried about what other trailer park customization has been done regarding regular maintenance, so I suggest changing every fluid if you haven't done that already.

Rear Seat Mounts? As in the stock rear seat shifted back? Or some aftermarket 3rd row? If the stock seat could be moved back I could see some benefit in that for the kids. But typically no one is back there for my use.

I think I will find some nutserts or cargo tie downs to fill the holes.

I think we also missed that they are too far back for the factory weld nuts for the rear seat.

Since the beggining of time people with 3 teeth have been drilling holes into jeep tubs and frames for random crap..I have seen people put bucket seats, racks etc back there so it's tough to say. At this point seal them up and protect with paint and forget about it
