Anyone install the TMR Customs 3 link front and 4 link rear in a TJ. I searched but nothing on this site. I can grind and weld. I will need to weld up the mounting brackets as they come in pieces. It looks like I could customize the length of the arms.

thanks

What exactly are you wanting to know?

You can always post up some pics of the brackets and the knowledgeable folks here will chime in.

I'm running their rear frame side link mounts with a savvy rear axle truss.

Love the AL links! Awesome work!

Currently have rough country long arms with rock jock joints on my LJ.

Have Dyntrac axles ordered.
44 in front (ProRock 44)
60 in rear (ProRock 62)

Like @member13 and many others, welding is expected for good suspension.

What's the big difference w/
Belly pan kits like Barnes and Motobilt
Vs
Chassis brackets like Artec and TMR

Also what is expected and what are challenges on both chassis and axle side?

Any recommendations or things not to do that most forget? Please teach me your tribal knowledge

I've been thinking about using those same brackets on my Lj ! I wonder how the geometry compares to the Savvy mid arm
Also same for the front 3 link brackets! Who knows I may just buy savvy's kit cause they do sell JUST the brackets which I found pretty cool!

I may need to calculate the numbers myself with my current short arm setup with the jeeps west brackets i did on my rear axle cause I like how it handles!

I ended up measuring the rears and found that the highest holes were around 1/4"-1/2" lower or so with the vertical link separation (don't quote me on that its been years since I measured). That was a number I could live with. They also were doing a deal where the weld yourself rear 4 link brackets were around 100$ shipped so I tried em out. The front however were drastically different IIRC so I ponied up for the savvy fronts for the higher upper frame side mount.

Newby question:
It'd hard to tell from your pic's, but do the TMR backets upper mounts upper hole sit above the frame of a TJ?
The reason I ask is because the pic's I've seen of both would lead me to believe the separation at the frame was more than 1/2" different. Which should make a significant difference in the instant center location & it's movement as the suspension cycles

I have the TMR brackets on my front and they are more "square" and hang down a little lower than the rear brackets (which are genrights). If you are in the rocks where these brackets could be coming into contact keep that in mind, the "squareness" and hanging just a little lower could become an issue with catching rocks.

I did just look at the TMR website and it looks like the Option 1 uses the "square" brackets that I have installed.
Option 1

Where the option 2 looks lie they added a taper.

The option 2 also separates the upper and lower link which may or may not work work you.
