Anybody up for a random meme dump?

Looks a

Looks about as comfy as a lego fleshlight...

If you knew what I've been dealing with for the past few weeks I might disagree. Having a socket that doesn't fit properly isn't any fun... I'd be more worried about that Lego leg breaking in the middle. Kinda like this...

If the part that broke was a solid piece of aluminum rod wouldn't that fix the problem forever? Or is the point to keep it as light as possible? I'm just curious what the solution was? Simply replace it or did you replace with something with a thicker diameter? Would a carbon fiber rod work? Inquiring minds want to know.

Luckily that wasn't one my prosthetics just someone I know. But no a solid rod isn't the solution either as you want the parts to be as light as possible. The only way to explain it is for you to wear a 2.5 lb weight or so around your ankle all day. Then take it off when you get home.
They make the pilon hollow to cut down on weight and all the other parts light weight also. This doesn't happen often but those of us who are active can break parts. I know another person who broke his carbon fiber foot.
