Can't stand him and all talk radio annoys the hell out of me. So don't know.

I listen to the stupid news on the way to work. That's how I learned about the Indiana man masturbating in his doorway and saying Jeep Jeep when a Jeep drives by. The world is a better place laughing at that guy than it is being pissed off at politics.

I went through a phase where I'd listen to it on my 45 min commute home from work. Depending on when I left it would either be local news, Dave Ramsey, or Hannity. I had to switch to music on the Hannity days because I'd be more wound up when I got home than I was when I left the office. This was in the 2016-2019 time frame, been working from home since then so most current events I learn about here or YouTube.

This is true even on the AK forums

Many claim to be “Conservatives” but are bootlickin statists as theyre showin here claimin Liberty had been “issued a warrant” and had to comply. 🤨(they cant comprehend Libertys statements)

No one doubts the Feds would have broken into it, so yeah just bend over like the Statist whores they are, and screw the rest of the customers now since giving them Master codes “wont be abused” (Like OnStar illegal spying for decades)

I swear English comprehension is at all time lows thru multiple generations. Now that more and more is coming out revealing they were just plain fools…..silence

It all goes back to Liberty had no right to divulge that info. If the owner wasn't willing to give that code up then neither should Liberty. Liberty should have never been involved and shouldn't have been an option.

I don't know how being arrested all works or how the process works for the safe, as I have zero experience with this. Prior to this I assumed they'd bring in a locksmith and open it.

If the owner was intelligent, which based on what they say he did at J6 then it's debatable, he'd have provided the code to his attorney to open the safe for them.

Yep. I started this topic on my gun forum of choice - 5th or 6th post in was exactly this. I told this guy - a personal friend of mine BTW - that it wasn't Liberty's call to make. If the suspect wants to open the thing and/or give the combo, that's on him and his decision, not Liberty's.

Apparently, Liberty has now backpedaled on this...

I certainly must be missing something here. How come no one is asking why the contents of the safe were even in play? Being at the Capitol should not mean they have complete access to all your property, there has to be a connection, right?
 
I looked but found nothing-has anybody seen the warrant? Do you have the text of the warrant?
I'm curious if it specifically mentioned the safe.
The 4th amendment is pretty clear about "particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized"

So, I'm curious if the warrant specified the safe and it's contents.
 
Im not an expert on warrants, however….

I would imagine a warrant to search a persons house, condo, or apartment cant he negated by a locked box or locked safe…..so its included in the property search by default.

Same as if an LEO gets a warrant to search your vehicle and the trunk is locked with only a key to access it. They can break it open if there is no key
