Been chasing down all kinds of noises. I just checked my body mounts and the two rear bumper ones are missing. Got them in order. Then I look at the driver and passenger side. From what I know they’re all supposed to be the same. The front driver and passenger side bottom pieces are way thinner. Did the PO mess up or is it the weight of the motor doing this. All the other ones look solid.

Maybe it's me or the view angle but I do not see a torque box above the mount in the first pic and the front mount in the 2nd pic seems to be overly compressed trying to make up the difference.

Do you have this structure (new metal section) at your mounts.

Is the torque box the metal cap in top ? Forgive my ignorance. Haven’t heard that term before.

Are there rock sliders under the doors? There is something that shouldn't be there between the body mount isolator and the torque box.

The torque box is the long rectangular box attached to the underside of the body where the body mount isolaters attach. Their purpose is to add structural rigidity to the body.

There are. You think they were installed wrong ?

Those particular sliders utilize the body mount isolaters as an attachment. That is a poor method of attaching rock sliders because it disrupts the even loading of the body mounts.

This is what we call as the Torque box (yellow arrow). You can see the circular indents where the body mounts sit. See @jjvw's posts above to understand their function,

When things rust out you can buy replacements and this is what you will typically see if you search for "TJ torque box".

Ah, I see it in the 1st pic now, my brain says thanks.

So do you guys think that’s the wrong body mount or just compressed ? It’s odd both front frame ones are doing

In your first picture, the rocker guard is between the torque box and the body mount. This raises the body at that location and not at the other locations. You need to remove the rocker guard, cut out an area where the body mount would be and then reattach rocker guard. Rocker guards that are "sandwiched" in between the body (torque box) and the mount are not good.

You have a set of the crap rock rails installed that screw up the body mounts. Fix it.

Missed your reply, sorry about that.
