Here’s a nice example of a WWII MB that’s in The museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. This is a wonderful museum. Fredericksburg is where Admiral Nimitz was born.
There is another old Willys MB at The Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. This one is outside in the area where they do their re-enactments so it runs, drives & gets used. ‘Really cool! They also have a Sherman tank & a half track.
That museum is amazing. I’m willing to bet a lot of folks who are interested in that time in history are unaware of it. And it’s much larger than it appears from the outside. It’s been a few years since I went but back then your ticket was good for two days and there was a reason. Place was huge.
I Rebuilt a GPW back in 92.
Got everything I needed from Surplus City in Sunland.
Everyone was doing them in Army Green, I did it up USN style in Navy Green.

There are three of these in my area. Saw one of them recently screaming up the steepest hill leading out of town. The hill is about a mile long and he was going just as hard and fast as she would go. It was very impressive. Just about drove off the road watching him go.
Actually a GPW but my buddy let my wife and I take this today to a local car/plane show. He drove his Dodge WC. It was a good time and fun to get an hour of seat time in one of these.
MB in the CH-47. I wish they would have dropped me off at home. If I had caught the Marines before they set up the 155, they would have let me hook up for a pic.
