Yes, but they'd look better on mine. Will stock 16" Rubicon wheels fit my TJ
I’ve got a ‘97 2.5l SE which came stock with 15” wheels. I’ve been riding the Rubicon 16’s for years with no problems. A 2” lift certainly helped off-road, but on road, zero problems.
If I can do it, you can. However, not to be misleading, the second pic also is w/2” lift Vs stock height in the first one

They’ll fit fine, but some will discourage it because of tire selection . Anything 33” or under you can find a load range C, just might be a bit more pricey.
I got rid of mine due to tire selection. I sold my Moab with with really good mud tires for $400 then bought these JL take offs with under 500 miles on them for $800. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Will stock 16" Rubicon wheels fit my TJ and is it a good or bad idea?

But is that because you wanted big tires? Would you still get rid of them if you wanted to run 245s, 255s or 265s?
Yes, because the tire selection is still greatly reduced.
Don't you need spacers or adapters for these?
A 15x10 wheel is too wide for 31x10.50 tires. It sounds like they might be a good choice for someone who doesn't want big tires? I would still have my 15x10 American Racing wheels with 31s on them for the beach.
.... It's a Jeep; live with it.
