Hello all,

Which company makes the best bushings? Looking to get a complete kit and replace all the original ones as modifications are made.

Thanks!

Bushings for what?

Something like this…see pic.

Most will tell you to avoid poly bushings.

Also; some parts, like control arms, aren't worth the trouble since new replacements don't cost that much.

Probably cheaper and easier to get a kit like below. Factory arms are actually quite well designed and while not adjustable, many people run them with small lift kits. The arms don't necessarily wear out with age, but the bushings get old and dry eventually. It's possible to replace the bushings alone in the factory arms but the cost is not far away from a full replacement kit.

@jjvw's advice above (and in general!) Is very good. Key is to get factory style rubber.

Or you can buy the individual Moog control arms on Amazon for a little less than the Crown kit at Quadratec. It's MUCH easier to replace the control arms, which come with new Clevite bushings, than to replace just the bushings.

The front upper control arms have a bushing pressed into the axle. Those two will have to be pressed out and in, IF needed. On my Jeep, those two were in much better condition than all of the others, so I just left them alone.
