We’re volunteering at Pedernales Falls State Park in Johnson City, Texas. A couple from Montana is camping here & they brought their 1947 Willys CJ2A. It’s got a Chevy small block 305 bored out to 315 ci & other cool goodies.

Got to love a flattie, bet that 350 sucks down the 10gal tank quick..
Likely better than the stock 4 cylinder. Most CJ2A owners report no better than 13-15 MPG. A well tuned and modestly driven 350 will run an honest 20 MPG or better, especially with a light load like a Jeep.
I had a 350 TBI in my '89 YJ that beat the old six cylinder hands down in the MPG department. Anyway, it's just cool !
