My wife and I had a business meeting in Scottsdale and came out to Arizona for several days, while we were planning the trip I talked to @Farmergreg about renting a Jeep and then taking a day to go see what the trails are all about. As I was searching for Jeeps on the Turo app I came across LetzRoll OffRoad’s rental Jeep. So I called the Shop and talked to Ty. Ty was great help and was able to work with me on setting up a trail in a GPS app, (new for me). Ty dropped the Jeep off at the resort I was staying at with a full tank of fuel and a cooler in the back ready for our trail food and drinks. @Farmergreg and I then headed to Montana mountain and met up with super @DaveC where we aired down at the trail head and then spent the rest of the day riding up and down the mountain range. We stopped a few times to be tourist for my wife and I not getting to see that terrain everyday. And then for a quick lunch before we made it to the peak. When we finished with that trail. @Farmergreg and I went to Queen Valley where we started the Elephant Butter Rd trail. @Farmergreg said “the trail starts at a golf course and ends at a roller rink” 😂😂😂 several great more views and some obstacles that flexed the Jeep out. We ended the night with a trip through the carwash and in & out burgers. Then we dropped the Rental Jeep off at the LetzRoll Off-road shop in mesa.

Thanks for posting up all the pics. Thanks to our excellent tour guide @DaveC who rearranged his schedule for a midweek run. Lots of scenery for us midwest flatlanders to enjoy. Good times!

Fun day and thanks for letting me tag along! Hangin' with an LJR and JLUR (on 37s, no less), my little TJ on 31s felt like the runt of the litter!

Wow never heard of renting an off road jeep that is such a cool idea.
That LJ Rubicon is really sweet and clean.

Curious if you don't mind sharing I just rented a Van for my FL trip and that is costing me about a $800-900 for a week.
What was the cost for you and how many days(was it just the day) did you rent it?

Metalcloak!!!!!!!!! Makes the TJ's look small. Great pics.
Say what you will about them, but they own the JL and JK market. All the bitching here does is create another line of products discontinued for the TJ.

FIFY
After following that JL all day, I can see why people like them!
I’ve driven JLRs a few dozen times. Insane what they’re capable of right out of the box. Ride quality is superb, and that 8-speed auto paired with the 3.6 is unbelievably smooth.

Sorry for the late reply, there were multiple options on Turo to find used Jeeps to rent, but when I found one from an offroad shop I was willing to pay just a bit extra thinking that if we did have a problem or issue that they would at least be able to stand behind something. I think after taxes, delivery, insurances (tire and glass, $25), run it through a local car wash, and to top off the fuel at the end of the day, it was just under the $300 amount for the 1 day. Ty dropped it off at the resort at roughly 8 am, and we dropped it back off at the LetzRoll OffRoad shop at roughly 8 pm and put the keys in the Key drop. Hope this helps. I have looked into a similar Jeep rental place in Ouray, Colorado for this summer but haven’t pinned down exactly what our plans our for that trip yet.
