One of few Navy ships allowed to dock in Monte Carlo as we had no weapons; oceanographic research ship, with many, many antennae. Around 1970.

I really enjoyed my two tours onboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) particularly carrier ops in South China Sea.

45 years ago when I joined Army. I reported for basic training @ Ft Dix, NJ on 20 June 1978.

All the schools here in our district do a Veterans Day event. It’s nice to get the recognition, especially for the Vietnam era folks.

The Vietnam Vets have my utmost respect. Any time I see one these days I make sure to say thank you for your service.
