    Air ride suspension

Excited to see your results with the airbag springs. What brand of shocks did you go with, and what amount of lift height? Also, did you go with stock control arm replacements or adjustable?

1999 TJ Fox Shock Questions: 2.0 vs Adventure

I've got adventure series on my 2" lift TJ. I've enjoyed them so far. Better than Monroe or Bilstein I've run in the past. Shocks are real subjective. New seat cushions and proper tire pressure are not subjective, however.

Twice the number of holes.... double the fuel.... 100% more horsepower!?

LJ handles worse after 4" RockJock and Fox 2.0 install

My Fox's are the best riding shocks I've had on my TJ in 20 years of ownership. I also don't think shocks would contribute to the Jeep wandering when driving over bumps. Sounds like an alignment issue to me. Idk why a DPA would have worse handling after upgrading everything around it. Should...

The decline of restaurants and eating out

Can't say that I've noticed the same trend. But then again, I live in the big city with tons of options and competing restaurants. Prices are definitely up a lot over the last 10 years, but the quality has gotten better if anything. Lot's of reasons to hate living in Portland, but the food ain't...

    Gearing for 33s

Heard. My experience with 3.73 gears on 31s while towing has been needing to be at about 4000 rpms in 4th if I want any chance of maintaining speed on a steep grade (think the hill between Pendleton and La Grande). That's about 75 mph and flooring it. If I dont hit that speed, I end up down...

    Gearing for 33s

I had told myself I was going to stick with 31s when I bought the last set 4 years ago. I was typically the guy pulling others out when they got stuck; no need to go bigger. Then I started pulling the M416 (Dinoot) on all my offroad adventures. Now I'm regularly the weakest link when in either...

    Gearing for 33s

31s finally gave up on me. Sidewall just cracked while driving down the road. Pulled the trigger on a set of 33x10.5x15s. I'm still on my 3.73 factory gearing behind an AX15 5spd. Dana 30 front, 44 rear. General consensus seems to be that I want 4.56 or 4.88 gearing for that combo. I tow a...

    Seat Covers

I've got a set of Bartact covers. They are expensive, but feel like they will last a long time. The molle webbing is nice for attaching doodads as well.

    Is this TJ lifted?

Great advice. I'll just add, if you "know" that 2" is as high as she wants to go, you might consider H&R 1" springs and a 1" spacer. Only advantage here is to have a very inexpensive fix to eliminating driveline vibrations that may occur at 2" of lift (as they did for me). The fix being removing...

    Another A-Pillar Light Mount Install

What did it cost you to order the brackets? Thinking I may do something similar with a set of KCs I have gathering dust in the garage.
