it could need a flush but I’m just a bit perplexed why it gets hotter when I turn it off a setting that includes the ac.so if I put it on the floor or vent setting it gets a lot hotter would this alter the hvac door?

Hi I have had a problem with my 2006 tj not getting enough heat on de mist or any setting that brings the ac on, if I put it on a setting without the ac it gets a lot hotter but not much good in winter when trying to clear my screen is this normal or has anyone got an idea what could fix this? This is what we buy in the uk it’s basically a cut and re welded stabiliser bolt which gives a better angle for clearance please bare in mind this one needs spinning a bit to line up better.hope this helps.

I’ve found some numbers 7812145 on the steering box which after google says it’s a gm box does anyone know of a compatible standard pitman arm I could use or should the standard jeep ones fit ? Thanks.mark

I’m sure your right the output spline is 1.215” I think the crown one is manufactured too small.i will crack the nut on my 06 tj pitman tomorrow and check for sure the spline measurements that way I can order a Rhd mopar arm and fingers crossed it will fit.looking at the dropped xj one I took...

My 06 and the 03 look and measure the same on the output shaft but the crown one I ordered is the same part number as my 06 but I can’t see how it will fit on as it’s 3mm smaller in between the splines as pictures if some one has spare that they could measure between the splines for me that...
