i used an omix brand and it is the best fitting aftermarket full door seal i’ve run across. omix is on the drivers side with an oem mopar on the passenger side.

i unscrewed the old one and then screwed the new one on. it hissed just a little bit but, that’s it.

unplug the low pressure switch and bridge the plug attached to the wires with a paperclip. does compressor kick on? if yes, go get a new low pressure switch and replace old with new. if compressor doesn’t kick on you have a problem with the compressor or low refrigerant. my low pressure switch...

lots here are recommending the replacement seat foam from summit. my seats are in perfect shape with bartact covers so i can’t give any real input on the replacement foam. just passing info from reading this fine forum of knowledge.

i highly recommend the mopar header seal if you can find one. i ordered mine and was told that the header seals were in production and to not cancel my order. seal arrived several months later. it was worth the $ and the wait.

5.13 or bust with the 42rle trans.

i turned my od off every time when running stock 3.73 gears on 33” tires. since regearing to 5.13 i never turn it off and we have plenty of good size hills here in east texas. if i start slowing down on a hill i give it a shot of the skinny pedal and it drops a gear and all is good.

i’ve run my jeep on 33’s with stock 3.73 gears for around 2.5 years. overdrive was useless so i would just turn it off. 42rle seems to be doing fine. running 5.13 gears now and all is good. do i have a trans. cooler? no. do i need one? probably so, especially in the summer heat here in texas.
