On my first TJ I had the MBRP Muffler/Cat back kit. It was quite loud and had a nice burble and pop when downshifting or de-accelerating. That Kit was a 3 in exhaust tube so not apples to apples with my current setup.

I have the thrush turbo on my TJ. It’s better than stock and doesn’t drone at highway speeds. I barely notice it on the highway but love it during a cold start/warmup period. I think this is the factory 2.5in diameter exhaust tube as well.
